Accounting Manager

Reports To: Vice President, Operations

Position Summary

Cyclopure, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager who owns the day-to-day accounting while helping optimize systems and processes needed to scale. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable rolling up their sleeves, working through ambiguity, and keeping the financial records maintained as the company quickly scales. You’ll partner closely with leadership, improve continuing accounting operations, and help lay the financial foundation for the next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets)
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close in a fast-moving environment
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audits
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
• Support sales tax compliance and filings
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Optimize accounting systems and tools as we scale
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline workflows
• Support ad hoc projects, as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • CPA preferred (or strong public accounting foundation)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and close processes
  • Comfortable operating with incomplete information and evolving priorities
  • Experience with accounting systems and ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced Excel skills
